The Specialty Food Association (SFA) recently announced in their article "Younger Millennials Prefer to Drink at Home" that millennials prefer to drink wine at home. You can understand this, right?
If we want to have a nice glass of wine to relax and catch up with our friends, we can do that at home. Especially if the alternative is a bar or restaurant with a poor quality or limited breadth "wine by the glass" offering.
At the same time, as described in the SFA article, millennials are more interested in "unique experiences" and consumers are visiting places that offer something unique more often.
Consider this for a moment....
What if you expanded yourbar's or restaurant's "wine by the glass" offering, to include fun and interactive wine experiences? Better quality and/or wider selection of wines? How about a "flight of reds" experience that allows customers to experience several red varieties in one visit? A "trip across Argentina" experience with several featured wines from Argentina?
With a proven and economicalwine preservation system (like VineyardFresh Wine Presever), you could help your millennial customers enjoy more and better wine experiences! Contact Silvadore to see how you can expand your wine by the glass offering to grow your establishment's wine revenue!
